I’m so excited to share with you all that I’ve received my first Influenster VoxBox! Some of you might be asking, “What the heck is a VoxBox?” “Did she mean ‘influencer’ instead of ‘Influenster’? Nope. I meant Influenster!
Influenster is an app that I joined about 3 months ago. I was researching how to get free makeup, and came across this app! The app allows you to review all kinds of products, ranging from makeup and hair products to dog and cat food. (I’m not joking!) It also allows you to read other people’s reviews and ask questions to the Influenster community. As you review products, ask questions, and answer other people’s questions, you can earn different badges! It’s really neat and 100% free.
A VoxBox is a box of different products that Influenster wants you to review. From the products you review and the questions you ask on the app, Influenster decides whether or not you’d be a good choice for specific VoxBoxes. I’m not totally sure how you qualify to get a VoxBox, BUT I know you have to be an active participant on the app.
So, since I’ve given you a little background on the app, lets get to what was in my first Influenster VoxBox. The name of my first box was called #GaletinesVoxBox, in lieu of Valentine’s Day. In my box, I received 6 items. I haven’t used all of them yet, but below is a review of the 3 items I have used:
1) Fresh Sugar Mint Rush Freshening Lip Treatment:
I was really excited about this product because I love having moisturized lips, especially in the winter. This product goes for $24.
2) Nature Box Shower Gel with 100% Cold Pressed Oil:
This stuff right here smells so good! Fun fact about me – I LOVE to take baths…nice, hot bubble baths. This shower gel made my skin very moisturized and smooth and the coconut smell wasn’t overpowering, which I loved. This product goes for $7.99
3) Pretty Vulgar Faux Real Extreme Volume Mascara:
I was surprised at how much length and volume it gave my eyelashes because I haven’t had much success with mascaras in the past. This is definitely on my list for favorite mascaras. This product goes for $23.00.
The other 3 items I received in my Influenster VoxBox were: Nature’s Bounty Beauty Gels, Eva NYC Kween Glitter Spray, and Therapy Session Hair Mask. I haven’t used them yet, but I do plan too!
