Mented Cosmetics Better Setter: Should You Honestly Buy it?

Who is Mented Cosmetics?

Okay, so first let’s talk about who Mented Cosmetics is. Mented is a women-owned, black-owned beauty brand created by KJ Miller and Amanda E. Johnson. They are passionate about making sure that every woman can find a product of theirs that looks great with their complexion. They believe that every shade should be represented when it comes to makeup! I’ve been using their products for two years and I can vouch for this. That’s why I’m in love with Mented Cosmetics and their products so much! What is a Setting Spray?

Now you may be asking, “What is a setting spray?” or “What it’s meant to do?” Setting sprays are meant to “set” your makeup. It means it locks your makeup in place (no fading or smudging) and increases the look’s lifespan. This means it should last longer! Also, there are different types of setting sprays. Some are made to control oil (for us oily folks) or some are made to leave a dewy finish. On Mented Cometics’ website, it says:

How do I use the Better Setter Setting Spray?

There are two ways that I use the Mented Cosmetics Better Setter setting spray. The first way is that I spray my beauty blender with it after I’ve applied my foundation. Then I use it to blend my foundation. I find that when I use the setting spray to blend out my foundation it helps my foundation to stay longer. The second way I use the Better Setter spray is after my makeup look is completed I spray my whole face. This allows the spray to set my whole face! Click here to check it out on their website!

The amazing ingredients in the Better Setter spray include:

• Coconut Water – Hydrates the skin and is an anti-aging agent
• Rambutan Peel Extract – Helps to promote a healthy skin barrier by supporting natural ceramide production. It also seals in moisture.
• Vitamin C & E – Provides protection against antioxidants.
