I’m so excited to share with you my routine for my wash and go for the winter. First, let me tell yall that this wash and go lasted me a week. Yes, a whole 7 days. I had never achieved this before with a wash and go before.
I know one of the first questions that you probably have is, “What products did you use?” I’ll get to that in a minute. First, in case you didn’t know, it’s important to keep your hair very moisturized during the winter. You might have noticed that during the winter your hair is more brittle, has more tangles, and gets extra dry. Well, you are not alone. It happens to me too!
Since the winters in Japan are harsh, I knew I wanted my wash and go to leave my hair moisturized. So, I decided to incorporate the L.O.C method in my wash and go routine.
L.O.C method = Liquid/Leave-In, Oil, and Cream
For the wash and go, my products of choice were: Curl Theory’s Miracle Worker Leave-in, Sweet Almond Oil, and Deva Curl’s Super Stretch. I knew this particular leave in and cream would work well in my hair because these were the products that were used during my appointment at the Curl Theory Salon. I decided to add the sweet almond oil to retain more moisture to my hair, and it definitely did the job!
If want to know how I styled my hair with these products, make sure you watch my YouTube video below! Let me know if you use a similar routine for you winter wash and go in the comments section.
XOXO,
Stevie

your results are very beautiful! do wash and gos do better in the winter time? and how is the flaking with these products mixed together? that is usually my problem
Thank you! Wash and gos work in any season, but depending on the season determines the products you use for your wash and gos. These products didn’t flake at all. I recommend mixing your products on your hand before to see if they clump up, if they clump that most likely means it will flake.
Gorgeous! I’m a naturalista myself so I’ll be definitely be giving these products a try. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much!! Yes! Let me know how it goes for you! 🙂
I love that your hair came out do defined yet full! Sometimes it seems like we have to choose between definition and volume.
Thank you!! I know sometimes it seems that way, but there are tricks to get both like using the pick.
Your hair looks amazing! I wish I had the patience to try a wash and go
Thank you so much!! It does take patience, especially if you have a lot of hair lol.
